Stairs leading to nowhere or to help birds come down from the sky, these columns are on top of the building that was meant to be Edward James’ house at Las Pozas. Las Pozas is a sculpture garden built by the British Edward James in the tropical rain forest in the mountains of San Luis Potosí, México, near to the town of Xilitla. Edward James, who also gave patronage to the surrealist art movement in México, created this garden between 1949 and 1984 with the help of Plutarco Gastelum.
