Resting in the gardens of the Castillo de Chapultepec (Chapultepec Castle) a modern sculpture contributes to the eclecticism of a site filled with pre-Hispanic, colonial, and modern history. Built on 1780 on top of a hill considered a sacred resting place for Aztec emperors as a vice regal residence, the Castle has passed from imperial residence, military academy, and battle site to finally become the National History Museum.
